One month ago I bought a new charger for my phone. In three weeks time, the charger broke: the small plug on the side of the phone fell apart. It was just an unfortunate charger, ill-assembled. I went back to the Carphone Warehouse shop were I bought it, just beside Holborn tube station in London. They were very unfriendly, and alluded to the fact that I broke the charger. First, it would have required a lot of effort to break the charger in such a particular manner, it was blatant that the charger was ill-assembled; second: how do you dare accuse me of breaking it (and why would I want to)? In brief, they did not give me a new charger, but made me waste half an hour and irritated me. So, if you have to buy a phone, or accessory, do not buy it at Carphone Warehouse, because in the case the thing is broken or ill-assembled, as it often happens with this type of goods, they will say it’s your fault and will not exchange it.
